The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer works collaboratively with end users to design and develop reporting solutions that provide accessible information for decision-making.
The BI Developer uses enterprise reporting and analytics tools to build reports and dashboards.
Primary Objectives and ResponsibilitiesDesigns and plans BI Dashboard and Reporting solutionsRequirement gathering and Data analysisDebugging, monitoring and troubleshooting BI solutionsCreates and deploys reportsAutomates current manual reports across business unitsMentors and assists other business users and data analysts on how to best prepare and present data using self-service toolsWorks closely with the BI Architect and Data analyst to create data for data integration models, reporting on workflow and operational dataIdentify, communicate, and resolve data quality and data reconciliation issuesQualificationsBachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent education5
years of strong experience in data analysis3
years of Power BI and DAX Development experienceExcellent communicator with individuals and groups at all levelsDetail oriented, organized and able to manage user expectationsStrong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical termsGather and document requirements for new BI solutions from multiple business usersAbility to translate business requirements into actual analytics or reporting solutions while maintaining a high level of accuracy and data integrityAbility to write, debug and tune SQL, database packages procedures and functionsAble to integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics by API automation.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
