Summary:
As the Store System Application Developer, you will provide management and support of Spencer's Point of Sale application and other in-store applications.
This includes implementations, upgrades, integrations, and design and support of Store System's applications.
In this role, you will be responsible for development of interfaces, design modifications, support of the applications and interfaces, and working with the functional teams and vendor technical support teams.
The Store Systems Developer (POS) is comfortable coordinating all aspects of the software development lifecycle across multiple technology platforms and disciplines.
Responsibilities:
Researches, designs, and implement solutions in point of sale applications.
Analyzes software requirements to determine implementation within time and cost constraints.
Develops and directs software system technical design procedures, programming, technical testing and documentation.
Works with functional, architecture and quality assurance teams to review documentation, address issues and support those roles within the development lifecycle.
Provide application support for Spencer's ApplicationsAct as a liason between business users and vendor technical support to resolve issuesDevelop integrations according to Spencer's security, change management, and development standardsCollaborate with business users and POS team to identify and prioritize needsAssist the Manager of Store Systems development with the following tasks:
Coordinate system upgrades for new plug-ins, service packs, and releases.
Review Release Notes in advance to prepare business teams for changes and assist in updating documentation, preparing trainings/webinars, and otherwise communicating changes.
Monitoring all application and integration related jobs and tasksRequirements:
Four-year college diploma or university degree in IS, CS, or related field of study and/or 6 years equivalent work experience.
Languages:

Experience:

NETOperating System Knowledge:
Windows Server 2008 and 2012, Windows 103-5 years direct experience with Retail and/or POS application implementation, support and integration.
3-5 years direct experience developing in C#Experience in architecting and developing Payment systems, Credit card operations with Security and Tokenization (EMV), Mobile POS,Experience with business and technical requirements documentation, analysis and business process modeling.
Extensive experience with core software applications and associated third party tools.
Familiarity with risk management as it relates to applications/integration/software engineering.
Experience with enterprise integration tools, such as VisualCron and Microsoft-SSIS.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
Working knowledge of relational database design and management techniques.
Working understanding of XML schemas.
Understanding of API protocols and schemas such as SOAP, JSON, and REST.
Knowledge of securing integration scenarios using appropriate authentication, authorization, non-repudiation, and data encryption methods.
Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personnel.
Knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
Knowledge of network protocols and standards.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
